Dodging clouds explains the ground track.
It was amazing what I could see out the side windows, but not much out front!
The pitch difference between climb and stall was about an inch. But it's really smooth up there!
Surprisingly, the ol' Connie O-200 was still pumping out 2400 rpm at that altitude! It dawned on me that FSX has the modeling wrong, since the available air to power the engine is the same air that is loading the prop, the load should be pretty much proportional to power and it turns out, it is! 59J climbs at about 2400rpm full throttle even at 2000 feet (which is the valley floor for me). So, one would have less power, but still about the same RPM.
