In another five weeks or so we will be flying the Mooney (a real one) on our annual cross country from KORH (Worcester, MA) to KMFR (Medford, OR) to spend the summer on our ranch on the Rogue River. We usually do the trip three or four times a year. We have done it in a single day (never again) and beat the airlines, door to door, by a couple of hours. It is nice to bypass all of the TSA crap and as hunters we can carry firearms with no hassle.

I will file IFR regardless of the weather and will post my flight plans, Wx and clearances here just in case any of you want to follow along on Flight Simulator. We usually spend the night in Council Bluffs, Iowa but if my bride is having any luck on the penny slots we have been known to spend a few days there.

If it was so, it might be; and if it were so,it would be; but as it isn' t, it ain' t. That's logic.
